Want to teach English abroad or online? Your first step is getting TEFL/TESOL certified!

There are so many different brands that offer these courses – but not all courses are properly accredited for teaching abroad and online.

I have personally tested ALL of the TEFL/TESOL certificates and specialty courses on this page. If you still aren’t sure which course is right for you, send me an email with the subject “TEFL Recommendation” to jamie@eslteacher365.com 

Here is a list of TEFL/TESOL course providers I DO NOT recommend because their courses either aren’t accredited or due to bad business practices. If you take a course that is free or inexpensive ($30 for example), you run the risk that this course isn’t accredited and isn’t high quality. If you are serious about teaching abroad and/or online, invest in a quality course!
